Placing Poems.

Placing Poems is now closed for contributions, but you can still read about how it worked.

• Write a poem (max. 40 lines) about any journey, real or imagined, taken or anticipated.
• Click the ‘place a poem’ button
• Click on a location on the map and enter the coordinates of your location into the contribution form.
• Fill in the rest of the form with your details and poem.
• Click submit!

If technology isn’t your cup of tea, click here for an explainer video to help guide you through the process. All poems will be anonymous and moderated by the Placing Poems team. We only collect details in case we need to contact you regarding your poem.

The contribution window closes the evening of the 29th of April, Poetry Day Ireland 2021. At the end of the day, all contributions will be made public.
